As an occupational therapist in a rural low-income school district, funds are limited. Therefore, we are unable to obtain the supplies needed for working with children with severe needs, primarily in the life-skills area.
I work often with children for sensory, life skills, fine motor, gross motor and body regulation.
We are often in need of large and small sensory items in order to help our students reach their goals.

My students are often have difficulty concentrating in the classroom due to dys-regulation of the vestibular system. By having a trampoline to jump on throughout the day, these students will be able to use this as a strategy to calm their bodies into a regulated state.
It is common for students to have difficulty with concentration due to their need to move throughout the day.
With the help of this trampoline, my students will be able to obtain movement that will allow for better concentration in the classroom. By encouraging consistent movement throughout the day and giving students a schedule to jump on the trampoline, our school will be better equipped to serve the needs of our students.
