This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Because of Donors Choose, I'm able to provide my juniors and seniors with much needed caffeine in the morning. They have come to rely on stopping by my room to grab their morning Joe and a quick snack and it makes me happy to be able to do this. However, I'm running quite low on supplies.

My students work incredibly hard and rely on a hot beverage in the morning along with a granola bar to help them make it through to lunch.

It may not seem like much, but items like coffee and tea help fuel my students' brains and get them focused in order to work on financial lessons, college applications, and resumes for my class. Many times, combined with the snacks I received from another project, this is the only "breakfast" they get and they even come to rely on this at lunch time. Please help me restock my supplies so they can continue to count on coffee and snacks to power them through the rest of the semester.
