This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students need new P.E. equipment to stay fit and healthy. This is a perfect time to promote healthy routines. We will ask students to set jump rope goals during our P.E. block.

We are helping students set goals to increase exercise and become more healthy.

We will using these jump ropes to increase exercise. When we first get the jump ropes we will record how many times each student can jump, then we will set a goal for each student to increase the number of times they can successfully jump rope.

My Project

We go out to PE each morning to start our day at school. Students need to exercise their bodies, as well as their minds at school.

These jump ropes will help our students jump start their day by exercising!

We will start a jump rope program that motivates students to improve how many jumps they get each day. We will start by counting how many jumps students can get on the first day, then we will try to improve the score each day. Jump Rope promotes both fine and gross motor skills which all of our students need. Thank you so much in advance for the well needed jump ropes!
