My Students

Being a P.E. teacher has allowed me to teach students of all ages, races and abilities. My students are resilient, determined, creative, and energetic kids who love to learn while having fun.

This is what I love about them and this is what makes them special.

When they enter the gym they know it's time to have fun while learning new activities, games, and sport skills that will keep them healthy for a lifetime.

My Project

These jump ropes will be used to keep students physically activity while at home. Jumping rope is a unit that I enjoy teaching every year. Jumping rope boost confidence, is a full body exercise, and is great for hand eye coordination and balance. Students will use their personal jump rope to learn how to jump (kindergarten), improve on recently taught skills, and consecutive jumps through an activity called "Jump Rope Ninja".

Donating to this jump rope project will allow my students to have one piece of equipment that can be used to stay physically activity not just for the day but hopefully for a lifetime.
