My Students

All PUES students, Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, participate in the X-Ploration program. One vital component to this program is to get students up and moving. We provide standards-based Physical Education to ensure that all students meet the required one hundred minutes of Physical Education per week. Not only are students accessing standards based games, they are having fun, building relationships, gaining an appreciation for activity and fitness, and learning important team-building and sportsmanship skills as well.

My Project

The X-Ploration program provides standards based P.E. to every student in the School District, and quality equipment is required to implement many of our drills and games.

The students are becoming excited about old-school activities, like jump rope, that increase their stamina and coordination.

Younger students grow in their skills by jumping over a stationary rope or one that is wiggled in a snake like pattern. Older students use single or team ropes to play various games together (traditional jump rope, mouse trap, helicopter). Exposure to these games has gotten the students motivated to start jump roping at home! These ropes are perfect because they are durable and resist becoming twisted and tangled together! Please help us get quality ropes for our kids!
