This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from lower and lower middle class background in an urban port town outside of Los Angeles. My students are proud of their work, their families, and their community.

I love my students.

I want to bring the joy and love of learning to my students. I would like a parachute so I can take my students outside more often.

With your help, I want to play team building activities with my students, but first, I need you to fund a parachute.

My Project

My students love to smile and have fun in my class. My course is structured for students to have fun and to make new memories. I often have students ask me what are we doing today. Well with this donation, my students will be able to relive a childhood experience.

The fun shouldn't stop in elementary school.

If anything, the fun should continue to evolve as our students mature. I plan on having weekly parachute games that I will engage students with. With your generous donation, I can fulfill a bucket list item that I have wanted for years. I can't wait!
