Smiling faces surround me on a daily basis. I teach kindergarten. I have 25 young hearts and minds in my care. I take this responsibility very seriously and seek out the best resources and experiences for my students. Over half of my students receive free and reduced lunches. They are a diverse group of young learners who deserve every chance for enrichment I can provide for them.

Schools are trying to keep up with needed supplies, but are really only able to provide teachers with the bare minimum. Often I have to modify projects because I do not have access to the right color of construction paper. I have asked the office staff about purchasing color ink and was told it is simply not in the budget.

I need HP color ink for my HP printer so that I can take photographs of my students at centers, painting, reading, writing, working with manipulatives and engaged with one another. When I show parents photos they get a much better understanding of the experiences their children are having in my classroom.

Your donation for HP printer ink will allow me to complete Kindergarten Memory Books. These books which hold students' monthly art projects, writing samples and photographs are a year end cumulation of many months of learning. The students' learning is celebrated month by month and their progress is always evident. With your support my students and I will be able to look back and feel pride in their achievements.
