This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

90% of our student body is living in poverty. Resources are hard to come by, but let me tell you, these boys are worth it. Athletics has provided many young students with an opportunity to learn valuable life lessons while playing their respective sports. Teamwork, commitment, and perseverance are just a few of the things that come to mind when discussing the value of team sports.

Now, to our baseball team.

What a group these young men are. They are coachable, hard-working, and give their best, day in and day out. We desperately need these specific baseballs since the machine does wear out regular baseballs. We will use the only for batting practice and nothing else to preserve their life of them.
