This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students at our school look forward to participating in fun, interactive, educational activities. They are eager to learn and use their imagination as they enter a classroom that embraces their creativity.

Look what I made!" is just one of the many sayings my students share aloud once their piece has been created.

As a teacher, I am honored to provide a space for students express themselves in a variety of ways! Looking at their smiling faces and sense of accomplishment sincerely warms the heart.

My Project

Did you know that arts and crafts benefit children in a variety of ways? Students learn and develop in essentials ways when creating craft projects! Funding this project will provide students with the proper resources to create many fun and exciting pieces of art.

Students will create crafts inspired by countries around the world.

As an IB World School students are taught to be global learners. Students will be making crafts in order to learn more about the world. They will be making Egyptian collars, South American head dresses, Mexican folk art suns and Chinese New Year crafts are just some of the projects we will be creating. All the materials requested will help tremendously when creating these amazing projects. Actual feathers, googly eyes, construction paper, and paint accentuate a piece more than paper and crayons would ever do!

Learning about the world has never been more exciting. Students will definitely enjoy their journey around the world one craft at a time.
