Jigsaw for SJ Theatre!

My Project

Thank you for helping our theatre department get a jigsaw for building sets! We have obtained several tools in the past couple of years and one that we still need is a jigsaw. This tool is ideal for cutting curved lines and plywood silhouettes for set designs. For our last production, the organic plants designed for the set of Finding Nemo had to be cut off site or with personal tools brought from home, which meant that students could not help with that portion.

A jigsaw is the ideal tool for cutting curves, circles, and curved lines when building the sets for our shows.

These are difficult or impossible to cut with a circular or miter saw. Having a jigsaw as part of our tool collection will allow us to build our sets more efficiently and allow students to be a bigger part of the set-building process.
