My Students

My students are gifted students from all over the county based on their IQ and achievement test scores. The way they are chosen creates a diverse learning community. They use this diversity to build a strong learning foundation. My students are highly creative and use STEM as a real-world connection to their learning. They are leaders and problem-solvers in need of enriching materials to engage and deepen their understanding of basic concepts.

Our class quote is: Be yourself and shoot for the stars.

My Project

The beads are used for students to practice making patterns and expressing themselves creatively. They will learn about creating gifts for others. Students will also learn about working together and the process of taking a creative idea to a product that can be put on the market. Students will also learn to package products.

These bright and colorful beads will offer my students the ability to know and understand all the components involved in starting and running a business.

The jewelry that is made will be sold at the schools Enrichment Cluster Showcase. Proceeds from selling the jewelry will go to a local charity.
