Jefferson Jaguars Jump At The Chance To Read At Home!

My students need 8 sets of guided reading books that are at their "just right" level to read at home. I'd love to be able to send books home for them to read with their families, but I just don't have enough books in my classroom library to do that. Many of my families can't afford books, so this would be a wonderful gift for my class. Thanks so much for considering my 1st and 2nd graders!

The gift of reading is the gift of a lifetime! My 1st and 2nd grade students are falling in love with books before my very eyes, and I need books to send home with them to read to their families. Many of them can't afford to buy books, and I don't have extra books in my classroom library to send home. Won't you please help me send books home with my students to share the love of reading "just-right books" with their families? They will be so proud, and it will help make them life-long readers!

Many of our wonderful families simply don't have any extra $ for books for their kids. Our families don't have the resources to compete with the affluent side of town - help our kids to close the gap by having books to read at home! We need a "lending library" of just-right books to build those skills to build a better life!

I need a selection of "just-right books" so the kids can borrow a book each night to practice reading independently. The resources you provide will fund a lending library for my classroom so they can read at home to their families. Imagine how proud they will be to bring home a book that they can read!!!

You can make a difference in the lives of these kids. Help to close the poverty gap - the way to do that is with education, and building strong reading skills will get them off to a strong start!
