This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I feel my students are some of the best students and we teach them to become our future. My students live in a low income area and they lack exposure to how life is outside of their neighborhoods. Some of my students lost their homes and many items due to Hurricane Harvey. Yes, it has been a year and it was a very traumatizing experience. Considering all of these challenges, they still come to my class eager to learn. My students are hard workers.!

My Project

This project will incorporate technology in the classroom and get my students involved and interested in Science and Math. I am asking for a Apple Macbook Pro and with this computer, I want to bring math and Science to life. My students need to be successful in the Math and Science learning environment and see virtual lessons such as phases /problems. I want my student to be able to use it and explore Math and Science options that they will face now and in the future. These students are the future of tomorrow. Thank you for your assistance, help and hope.
