My Students

My students are truly a joy to teach. They come from a variety of backgrounds. However, they do have one thing in common - the desire to learn.

Some of my students come to school with financial challenges that prevent them from having the necessary supplies and experiences.

This does not “dull” their desire to be successful. These students are my inspiration. My goal is to supplement the supplies they need so that every student is equal when they walk into my classroom.

My Project

When a student is able to feel in control of their environment, they become more successful students. Flexible seating is one way I have chosen to empower my students. These seats will allow students that are visually impaired to move closer to the board. They will also allow student the opportunity to group together in smaller groups to work together. This will also help develop their social skills.

Students that learn to work together in the classroom become adults that work well together in the work place.

The organization items included in this project will help to create students that are self sufficient.
