My Students

Here at our school, we have over 500 students. We are a Title I school which means that our students come from lower income households.

I am the music teacher which means I get to teach every student in the building.

My students love to come to music to sing, dance, play instruments and, most importantly, to learn! They love to be creative by adding accompaniments to songs they know as well as by creating music of their very own. I love being their teacher!

My Project

Books and instruments are always great additions to my classroom. Books are a great way to tie stories into what we are learning about in music. My students love to be read to, and I am always happy to oblige. These new books will be great additions to our classroom library. The nice thing is that we have instruments that can add a little something new to our stories as well. The instruments can add to the story by allowing us to add sound effects.

My students love to play instruments.

They are always on the lookout for new instruments to add to their sound bank. These new egg shakers, finger cymbals, and ocean drum will be great new sounds to add to our classroom.
