My Project

Wobble stools help many children who can’t normally sit still or who have special needs stay seated, focus more on learning, and complete their assignments. Seating choices help to create a calmer and less disruptive classroom. Instant benefits of wobble stools include using up excess energy, increased motivation, and engagement, creating a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improving core strength and overall posture. It's no surprise physical activity is linked to expanded performance, better health, and improved behavior. When there are only a few active seating solutions, they present a variety of learning opportunities for children such as learning to share, waiting for their turn, and working together to problem solve.

When my students see the flexible seating options in the classroom, these are their first choice of where they want to sit.

My students enjoy the variety of seating alternatives available to them. You will often find them sitting under a table, laying of the floor, or any other space they can find to complete their work. The wobble stools are a popular preference. Student choice positively affects my students work and demeanor. These benefits will not only support this year’s students, but students for many more years to come.
