Ms. Mays from Columbus OH is requesting computers & tablets through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need an Apple TV and an Apple iPad Mini to present student-created PowerPoint , videos and lessons, display teaching content easier and allow for integration of technology to provide interactive and captivating lessons.

The students in my classroom are excited to learn new things. They enjoy hands-on activities and learning new materials. Bringing hands-on activities into my class to enhance our reading, science and technology experience has helped to increase my students' love of learning. Many parents have shared with me their child's love of being in our class and the activities that are provided. Being able to provide them with fun learning activities is my goal. Meeting their needs to create and explore is what teaching and learning is all about. My goal is to prepare students for the 21st Century. I want to be able to share with my students the latest technology, literature, science tools and more. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT OR IS IT?
The Apple TV and iPad will increase collaboration and the sharing of educational videos, slideshow/PowerPoint presentations, student work, and slideshows with the rest of the students in our class as well as allow me to be able to move around the classroom more easily. I will be able to hook the Apple TV up to your Smartboard, mirror and stream in real time to the larger Smartboard screen, so that the entire class can be engaged in a game or lesson and take turns while playing and learning. My goal is to be able to share with my students the most current technological devices and educational experiences.
