This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With a class set of magazine subscriptions to TIME for Kids, students in my class will have access to current events.

Using Time for Kids magazine is an excellent way to help my students learn about the world.

This amazing resource engages students with authentic journalism and will provide my class many valuable resources. Students will have their own printed eight-page student magazine as well as access to audio articles, read-alouds, and timeforkids.com. I plan to use TIME for Kids to get students excited about reading informational text, which will guide them to become knowledgeable and responsible citizens in the world.
