My Students

I have never met so many wonderful humans. My students are hands-on, driven, passionate dreamers who are empowered to make a difference in their community.

From having discussions about creating a peaceful community to creating a bridge from toothpicks, my students are epic problem solvers.

They really can do whatever they set their mind to! I am constantly amazed as I see them grow, learn, and challenge the world around them.

As their teacher, I want to do everything I can to ensure they have a hands-on, powerful education. With the right tools, my students will change the world!

My Project

We need a subscription to Time for Kids for a resource to help them understand the current events around them! As a passionate Social Studies teacher, I do my best to not only teach them history and geography but explain how all of this affects their current world. Time for Kids does a wonderful job of keep students up to date with current events, as well as challenging them.

If our project gets funded, I will utilize this tool as not only a resource for reading but also discussing current events.

My students will be able to utilize this resource to develop their understanding of the world around them. As our countries future leaders, this would give my students an amazing opportunity for to learn about the world!
