My Students
My students are a diverse group of learners. No matter the problems they may have at home or learning difficulties, each student comes to school hoping to be accepted, motivated, respected, and successful. We have a high attendance rate in fourth grade because of the exciting activities we do and the interesting materials we include in our lessons.
Time for Kids is an engaging resource that students look forward to each week.
Students become excited when they see they have arrived.
My Project
Using Time for Kids in the classroom will provide students with many interesting, motivational texts throughout the school year. Students look forward to receiving their own copies that they can read, share, and enjoy. We use them in class to introduce topics that are current and may not be available in our class materials.
Time for Kids is motivational.
Students work either independently or with others to check out the articles that spark interesting discussions around the room.
I love to hear students sharing their thoughts with others or asking questions that cause us to follow up with research. Its a great tool for exploring myriad topics.
