It's Time for Kids to Read!
My students need "Time for Kids" magazines to enrich their reading experiences.
I teach reading to all 3 classes of fourth grade at our school. My students love to read! They enjoy their silent reading time and will often ask to extend their reading time. "Do we have to put our books away now? Can't we read just a little longer?"
My school is a Title 1 school with about 70% free and reduced lunch.
Many of our students come from single parent homes or homes where parents are struggling to make it. They often are living with other families in crowded conditions. Our students want to do their best, but often don't have the supplies or materials needed at home. Your donation will help them be successful.
My students need "Time for Kids" magazines to enrich their reading experiences. My students will use the magazines to learn and practice new reading skills. We will use it in class to have discussions about current events. It will also give all students access to reading material for practice at home and enable them to discuss the articles with their families.
Your donation will allow all students to have access to the same material regardless of whether their family can afford it or not.
Students will enjoy the current event articles that relate to their daily lives and be able to discuss them and learn from them.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
