This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how excited you were when your teacher received Time For Kids reader. Well it hasn't changed much.

I teach 24 wonderful students school that receives no funding.

They love getting Time For Kids. It teaches them about world events as they are happening. The pictures are breathtaking. They love to read through the articles. Best of all it is aligned with the new Common Core Standards.

My Project

Students will learn about world events. They will know what is going on in other parts of the world. They will take the Time For Kids home and share with their parents. We do vocabulary study on the magazine. Most of my parents don't receive any type of newspaper. Time For Kids is a special way for my students to read to their parents and siblings.

If we had Time For Kids, my students would be so happy and they would be prepared for the world around them.

It broadens their mind. Please help me get Time for Kinds for my students. They are our future.
