My school is a kindergarten to second grade school in south east Michigan. Almost fifty percent of of my students are on free and reduced lunch.
Students are beginning their school lives at our school and our outstanding staff is making sure that it is a great start to the experience.
Our school is in a rural area with limited opportunities for students to experience new things. I hope that my class will expose my students to the world around them.
My Project
I am requesting a parachute, scooters, and balls coated with foam The new a parachute, scooters, and balls coated with foam will make a huge impact on my class and our school. All the equipment in this project is important to ensuring that kids are enjoying physical activity and learning healthy habits that will last a lifetime. In today's word kids are spending to much time staring at a screen. This equipment will help me show kids you can have a great time being physically active.

Everyone who used a parachute in school remembers how much fun it was. The parachute is the biggest part of this project. The parachute will help students learn loco-motor skills, space awareness, and cardio exercise. We will play games like parachute party and merry-go-round. I will use the scooters for many units such as scooter soccer and scooter hockey. scooters are a great way to slow a game down so students can learn the rules and game play. The euro balls in this project will be used for teaching the skills of instep kick, overhand throw, and underhand throw. Some of our favorite activities using the euro balls are "get your leaves out of my yard and pinball.
