Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever heard the expression "it's the little things"? Speak to any teacher and they'll tell you that a pack of pens, post its or some ink make a real difference. Believe it or not, our students need much more than you can imagine throughout the school year.
My incoming class is a great group consisting of 10 students who are all bilingual and have special needs.
As a result, I try to incorporate many engaging activities that require printing such as mini-books or readers theater scripts. I am also looking forward to incorporating our iPad's in class but we first need to make sure that they are protected with some cases.
My Project
I would love to get a head start on the little things needed in my classroom before the school year begins. Though paper and pencils are always needed in the classroom many of the other little things are often ignored because they are not considered essential. The iPad cases and ink I have requested will most definitely make a great impact and make a huge difference in how much we are able to do within the classroom to increase academic achievement.
I'd hope you consider making a difference by providing these little things to a well deserved group of students.
I know they will forever grateful for having the ability to work on our iPads and for printing their work to post in our classroom.
