Help me give my students a straw cup to help teach how to drink from a straw. There's also an activity board that will help build fine motors skills and learn how to interact with other students
My students are the most loving kids! In my class we see the able not the label! Little by little they are achieving their goals.
To some they seem like small goals, but to us they are huge milestones!
They fear new experiences alone, but with our help we ease them into new experiences! I love their ability to want to learn and to never give up. They all are unique in their own ways. They all have overcome huge battles, but they never gave up!
My Project
Like the title says, it's the little things. These items will fit more of our students needs and it will also allow them to have more center toys on their age developmental level. We do not get many new items, so these items will be the first few new items we've gotten in this class in over many many years! We want the best for our students, but that also means updating equipment and play areas. These items will make learning more fun and easier when they also look more appealing! My students will be able to work fine motor skills and also be able to learn how to play many children in my classroom have not learn how to play with toys it other children. These items will teach them ways on how to make new friendships by playing with items that interest both children's dn toys that allow playing side by side! I'll be able to teach one on one and keep the children more engaged. They will learn one to one counting, colors, and basic life skills. The straw cup will help a student who doesn't know how to drink from a straw. That is a hard lesson to teach, but I think the cup will help!
