My students need plates, napkins, cups and decorations to celebrate their growth and maturation as a Gamma Psi and to celebrate their mothers at our Annual Mother and Daughter Tea Party!
My school is a Title I elementary school, full of energetic, smart and talented students, who have a yearning for learning and exploring their artistic talents. The population of our school is made up of hard-working families, who sometimes do not have the financial support required to provide their students with the resources, needed to be academically successful. In my school, all of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. For some of our students, they may endure other situations due to their low economic status. Nevertheless, our students are resilient and are ready to learn something new, every day!
The students of my school deserve to have the opportunities and experiences, that fosters and cultivates their love for learning.
Teachers and staff members strive to provide meaningful learning experiences, as well as opportunities for the students to develop their artistic talents.
My Project
The Gamma Psi and GEMS girls groups, provides the girls of HRA with a safe space to learn, grow and mature during the most important developmental years of their lives. This would be the second year of these clubs at our school and we have started a tradition of a Mother and Daughter Tea Party. The tea party is a celebration that the girls look forward to, as it is a time for them to show their learned etiquette and celebrate their mothers and/or the special lady in their life that they admire.
These materials are essential in providing an opportunity for Highland Renaissance Academy's girls groups to commemorate their learning, growing and maturing as young, productive ladies.
The plates, cups, napkins and utensils will be utilized as essential celebration supplies. The decorations, place holders and mug decorations will be used to adorn the celebration space, making it a beautiful occasion for the ladies.
