My students are a very special group of children. They are the epitome of a melting pot. Each child brings something special from their culture.
Making unique class shirts will help unify the children as one class.
The children are unique individuals. It is important for them to feel connected to one another. This will help them feel class pride. While they have many differences, this will be the glue to bring them together.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies and group work to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a group of learners who are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
This project will be used to create classroom shirts. The shirts will be used for class identification during field trips. We go on many trips during the school year. Sometimes the trips can get quite hectic. It will also help the students stand out both in school and out. The shirts will serve as a unique way to show class spirit.
Our class will have a shirt-making contest, and the winning design will be turned into our official class shirt!
The children will have an opportunity to draw the design. We will then vote for the favorite idea. This will help motivate the children. Once we vote on the idea, the teachers will then be able to cut out these ideas on heat transfer vinyl using a Cricut machine and iron them onto the t-shirts using the Cricut Press!
There's nothing cooler than having your idea become a shirt that the whole class will wear. Thank you very much for considering our class.
