My Students
What I love about my students is that they are eager and excited to come to school each day. They look forward to seeing me and the other students in class.
Their favorite part of the day is going to learning stations and circle time.
Each morning when they arrive their first question is "Are we going to learning stations?" My response is always of course and I have some new stations I want to introduce to everyone. You should see their faces light up.
My Project
A new rug in my classroom will be aesthetically pleasing, which will provide a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for my students to learn. This new rug will contribute to learning in many different ways. My students will learn about colors, shapes, counting and explore their imagination during circle time. Circle time is one of the most important parts of the day it is when we come together as a group and read a story on the carpet.
Storytelling is an important part of the language curriculum to build children's literacy skills.
The tone and excitement in my voice will captivate my students which will create a positive attitude towards learning. Storytelling promotes an understanding, respect, and appreciation for different cultures. Telling stories is one of the most powerful ways that l have to influence, teach, and inspire my students.
