My Students

My percussion students are intelligent and absolutely a joy to teach. Many of them spend their free time after school practicing for an audition or performance coming up. They work hard to progress in their lessons and set goals for themselves in band, academics, and life! A handful of them received awards in band and outside of band. They love to ask questions and help each other improve their skill set. I am so proud to call them my students and I would not ask for a better group to teach.

My Project

My students are incredibly talented and deserve to play on the best equipment that is available. The drums we have are getting more difficult to keep in good condition because they have been around for so long. My students are constantly practicing on practice pads and on their current drums, but we spend more time fixing the drums than playing on them. The sound quality is not good anymore, and we are constantly ordering parts to make the drums work as best we can.

I want my students to have the best experience in band.

Our current drums have served us well, but in order to progress in their education, my students need to have the experience of playing on new quality instruments. They enjoy all aspects of band, and I as their teacher would like to give them a great experience in all areas of band.
