This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are thoughtful, caring, and energetic! They love attending school and they come to school ready to learn! Although many of my students come from low, socio- economic environments, they come to school excited, and full of enthusiasm for another learning experience.
My students have a passion for learning, even in the face of adversities and challenges!
My school is a Title I school with a large population of homelessness and families in transition. Our students thrive on engaging learning opportunities.
My Project
The supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The snacks and toys will be used for our school's store, The Paw Shop.
My students will trade in their hard-earned Decision Dollars that they have been rewarded for their good behavior and academic achievements.
The donations to this project will help to supply our school's store thus allowing my students to receive positive reinforcements while helping to motivate students maintain good behavior and pursuits of academic excellence. As the Guidance Counselor, I know that students in the primary grades need positive reinforcers to maintain good behavior and promote academic excellence. I truly need your support to make my students' Paw Shop experience one of a kind - one they will never forget and look forward to every grading period. Thanks!
