My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom love to read the genre of Graphic Novels. I do not have a large collection of these types of books in my classroom library, so I would like to have this genre of books in my classroom library available to my students that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom.

Struggling readers will often pick up a comic book because the pictures and visuals are less intimidating than in a typical book.

Students who read these graphic novels find reading fun and begin to read more for enjoyment! Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is the perfect way to build better readers. Graphic Novels are a gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers. My students will love getting their hands on Graphic Novels.
