My students need colorful paper to enhance our desire to work! Timers will help us stay on task when working independently, a self-timer can help a student both monitor and pace themselves to work!
My students need new supplies such as colored paper, markers, post-its, stress management tools and supply caddies. We have been using the supplies from last year's successful DonorsChoose project, and we are running low - every little bit helps!
Unfortunately, some of my students can not afford new school supplies, so I would LOVE to provide them with BRAND NEW school supplies!
It's the little things that mean the most to my students.
This will also give them the opportunity to express themselves in a colorful and exciting way. Who wouldn't want to learn that way!
My Project
With the new materials my students can not only present their work on bright colorful paper but they can use folders, notebooks and art supplies to express themselves. With the new supplies such as colored paper, they can create foldables for their notebooks which they can use to identify the specific lessons and anchor charts for each lesson. Working with students with disabilities can be difficult at times since I teach all of the subjects, we like things color-coded in here so the colored paper will really be helpful! With the new writing utensils, we can be assured that each student has the supplies that they need ( highlighters, markers, crayons).
