My Students

My students are so special to me because they are eager and excited to learn. Nothing excites me more than seeing the smiles on my students' faces when they go through different milestones/experiences in the classroom. What makes them even more amazing to me is that I have bilateral hearing loss and they do not make me feel any less of a teacher for it. Everyday I feel so lucky and bless to call them my students!

My students are full of life and love to learn new things everyday.

My Project

With the help of the Secret Phonic stories, my students will be able to decode and read new words easily! "The Secret Stories method is a brain based approach to phonics. It brings the study of words to life in an engaging and playful way that deepens learning and makes it stick." I've heard of many wonderful things about this program and I would love to provide it to my students!

My students struggle with understanding and remember the sounds of certain diagraphs and blends, so I believe if I can provide them with this program it will help them tremendously.

My students and I are passionate about learning, especially if it is something that we've been working on such as reading. I try to teach my students using many different ways to see what way works best. I believe that this program with truly help those who are struggling.
