This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As spring has sprung so are we with our learning daily. We are busy as bees and shine bright as the sunshine daily!
Our math classes are filled this spring with a diverse group of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds that are eager to learn and grow!
We work using centers on our rigorous math curriculum. We use our Math Centers daily and dive deep into our mathematical world through rich real life experiences that are hands-on helping us grow!
My Project
Keeping up with our curriculum can be quite a task. New Math Centers that are hands on are a sure way to keep us up to date with our daily curriculum. Teachers can match the current unit lessons with the Math Center topics to create a fun, educational way for the students to explore and learn everyday.
Math Centers are a way to reinforce classroom lessons.
They are leveled and can be used to differentiate and enrichment any students skills. Most importantly they give busy students a hands on way to exert energy in a very positive way in the classroom.
