This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students have been completing assignments from teacher created packets. Assignments are also posted in our Google Classroom. I have been doing a read aloud each morning on Facebook.
We never imagined that when my precious children walked out of our classroom on Friday, March 13th that it would be the last time all of us would be learning together.
These wonderful children miss school, each other, and the normalcy that they knew before the coronavirus pandemic.
My Project
This project includes a printer and a set of extra black and tri-color ink cartridges. My students are learning from home. We have been using packets to help with their instruction.
These materials will enable me to find online materials, print them, and then make them into worksheets that my children can complete through Google Drive in our Google Classroom.
The students will be able to type directly onto the document and submit it. It simplifies things for parents because they will not have to take pictures of materials and upload them.
