My students need magnetic letters and letter trays. The trays have the alphabet lightly printed on them to assist in organizing the letters on the tray.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are sweet children who love to learn! They enjoy playing to discover. They come to school each day with smiles on their faces.
Most of my students come from a high poverty level, with the majority earning free breakfast and lunch.
All of my students are special education students, so they have at least one learning disability.
They are excited to learn, but lack many of the materials to aid them in doing so. Many of my students have difficulty with paying attention to lessons so they need some resources to assist them.
My Project
Manipulating and rearranging words is fun! My students need magnetic letters to build words. They are special education students who learn best by tactile resources. By using magnetic letters, they are able to build simple words to read and write. The magnetic letter trays will allow my students to correctly put letters in alphabet order, as well as organize the materials when they are not in use.
My students and I will utilize the magnetic letter storage boxes to store multiples of letters (that will not fit on the tray.) Multiples of each letter are important so that my students can begin to build larger words.
The magnetic letter tool kit will aid me by presenting simple and more complex word cards for my students to build using the magnetic letters.
