My Students

My students are amazing. Their ages range from 12 - 13 and they are multi-handicapped. They are nonverbal and, therefore, need assistive technology to help them communicate. They are visual learners and require visuals to aid them. They receive related services. These services include speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling as well as English as a second language.

Adaptive physical education is part of their curriculum as well as art and music.

They are incredible kids who, when given the right materials, can succeed!

My Project

These materials will greatly help my remote learners to go back to school at home.

It isn't easy for my multi-handicapped students to learn remotely but with these resources geared to their needs they will succeed.

For example, they will sign into the google classroom and the differentiated work sheet geared toward the curriculum and their learning needs will be in front of them to go along with the teachers synchronous lesson. Success in their hands remotely!

My students are visual learners and need resources that will catch their eye. The resources on Teachers Pay Teachers are very colorful, animated and just completely eye and attention grabbing and, of course, instructional. These resources are able to be transferred over to the Google Classroom which the remote site our school is using
