Help me give my students geoboards, lace-a-word beads, alphabet learning locks, and assorted instant learning centers for hands-on learning centers to reinforce IEP goals.
Teaching preschool is full of joy and excitement! My class, of 11 3 to 5 year old students, have a variety of disabilities, but are so eager to learn! In this class we work hard to differentiate to all ability levels and celebrate every success each student has. We enjoy exploring together and learning through play and hands-on activities. For most of my students this is their first experience in school. My hope is to ignite excitement for life long learning.
My Project
The basics of letters, numbers, counting, and writing set the foundation for all academics. My students will be thrilled to practice the basics through all of these fun, and engaging hands on activities. These hands-on centers like alphabet locks, instant counting center, float and find bubbles, incorporate a variety of basic early learning skills. I will be able to use these activities year round and for years to come. I will be able to differentiate these activities to meet the needs of all of my students. I am so excited to see the progress my students will make from having a variety of choices to practice the HELDS standards and their individual IEP goals.
