My Project

My students are part of a generation that NEEDS involved, hands-on instruction. Due to my current classroom setup, I have practically zero outlets available to my students, so doing group labs that require measuring mass (calculating density of unknown objects, observing the law of conservation of mass, etc) are nearly impossible.

I could just do a demonstration for the class, but it's so much more meaningful to students when THEY can be involved in what they're learning.

If I had battery-operated balances, I could get back to these hands-on group labs that would allow my students to DO labs instead of just watching. My students would be better engaged, and learn so much more!
