It's a Small World After All! We Need Microscopes!

My students need sturdy, working microscopes to help them explore microbes, mitosis, and other microscopic processes in a way that they have not yet experienced!

My Students

My students are a diverse group, with a wide range of academic ability. Many of them have never had the opportunity to use a working microscope.

Help my students study the wonderful and vast world of microscopic organisms!

They have a variety of learning styles and needs, but they do have one thing in common- they love to learn, to explore, and to investigate the natural world. These wonderful and curious students need working microscopes to help them expand their horizons.

My Project

We need cordless microscopes to help us learn about the natural world. The Boreal2 Microscopes, HM Series from Wards Science are sturdy compound microscopes, so they can be used often. We have slides that presently can't be used because we don't have adequately working equipment.

Visual learners can't simply read about microscopic organisms and processes- they need to SEE them.

What better way than with microscopes that can expand their universe? We want to learn about mitosis, and microbes, paramecia and pond water- these microscopes will be invaluable in our quest.

We should have working equipment so that we can focus on our explorations, and not whether or not our tools are functional. We want to encourage our young scientists to study without barriers in their way.
