Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a third grade teacher in an underresourced school district. Our students are very eager to learn, even though the funding needed to provide them with important materials and supplies is limited. Math problem solving is an area in which my students need to have some extra practice. To help meet our need for extra practice, I would like to provide them with a one-year subscription for Scholastic Dyna Math Magazine. A one year's subscription, will help me enable my students to have the practice they need to become good problem solvers. This magazine is developed as an aid to work on problem solving skills through the use of articles and sections that contain math problems. These magazines will come monthly to the classroom. My students will be able to work on our problem solving skills every month with this amazing resource.
