Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in the western part of North Carolina. One hundred percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have for them.

The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every need of each child is met. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom.

My Project

To spice up our classroom, we are requesting a giant lawn chair and college throwback blanket to go along in our college-themed classroom. Flexible seating is a hot commodity in our classroom in this new big edition will fit right on in. This year I moved into a bigger classroom which lets me have a little more room and space to add new seating and this chair will fill up that empty space. Students love being able to work on the floor, rolling chairs and etc, this chair will kind of be a big deal! We represent the ECU Pirates so the blanket will be used for students who get cold this winter. Thanks in advance for supporting our classroom.
