This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Are you addicted to your iPod or your cell phone? My students love using these too!
My students are hard working, want to learn, and have big dreams.
My students learn the best when they are excited about what they are doing. We are a public school that is located 15 minutes from the heart of our capital city. My classroom has a wide range of learning abilities and a wide range of behaviors.
My Project
Many of my students' families can not afford an iPod. I want to give each of my children a chance to use this technology. There are tons of great educational apps on the iPod Touch. I will use it to support the state standards that are taught in my classroom. It will be used for reading, math, language arts, research, and of course music. We will use it by downloading books at a variety of interest levels, using it as a reference resource, playing math games, and downloading music to sooth students will special needs. I could go on, and on, and on about the exciting ways to teach using this technology!
I want to give my students an opportunity to use and learn with this great technology.
I want to excite my students, motivate them and let them be the best that they can be! Please, help me give these gifts to my students.
