This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students come from a low income area in Illinois with the largest demographic being Hispanic. My five and six year old students are all eager to learn and I'm eager to teach them through remote learning.

One of my struggles has been to use what I have at home.

Well...almost everything is in our classroom.

My Project

With this mobile easel and chart paper my students and I will have a place to write, teach and display work.

I am currently using a little dry erase board and paper that I have available at home.

With this easel and chart paper I will be able to have a bigger space to write on and not to mention, I will not have to hold the little dry erase board while I teach remotely. I am still learning how to use google meet and give class through the computer. So, I would like to use chart paper and an easel to write on and teach my kindergarten students. These items will be used during remote learning with my students and will be taken to the classroom, once we can go back.
