Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is made up of 18 amazing learners. They come to class ready to learn despite the obstacles they face prior to stepping foot in the classroom. We are a Title I school and almost all of my students are English Language Learners. My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. I work hard to provide a safe and loving classroom environment.
My students need supplies that our school budget does not supply.
High interest learning materials are essential to an engaging and successful elementary classroom. My students need materials to keep that thirst for knowledge alive and growing.
My Project
During guided reading and math, my students rotate to different centers while I focus on small group instruction. I try to make my rotations as engaging as possible to keep my students focused while they are away from me. Many of the games and learning materials require ink.
I use color and black ink for just about anything imaginable.
From decorating, learning games, to educational posters. I need all the ink I can get!
My students love the colorful learning games that I am able to make for them. These games help students to review important standards that they need to help them to be successful learners.
The ink I am requesting for our classroom will hopefully supply our printer with enough ink to last the entire school year.
