Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I am a Chicago Public School teacher in the Englewood neighborhood. I love teaching (all subjects) and I love my kids. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my classroom and the way my kids learn. One thing that always helps is organization. I have found that once kids understand math, they love it. Our math program is very comprehensive and the students do a lot of practice. We keep our practice sheets in binders, but we have no where to store the binders. Stackable crates would help provide a place for the binders and keep the classroom more organized. I really believe that these crate would be a great addition to my classroom.
