My Students
As a School Media/Technology teacher and Librarian for kindergarten to fifth grade students, I am passionate about doing everything in my power to provide a safe, exciting and passionate learning environment! Students in our small school are learning a buildings that are not up to modern education standards. They often struggle to find success that is standardized with what they receive. That is where this project plays a huge roll.
We are a small town that is set in the mountains of Colorado, surrounded with nature to inspire and educate us!
We strive to provide as much as possible for our students on an extremely tight budget that is continually being cut.
My Project
Our Elementary students are hungry to learn about money. We like to make, it, spend it and let's be honest, we need to learn to save it! These resources will allow us to teach in fun ways. We will read diverse books as a whole group and then we can break into small groups to choose games to play. Before and after school and during inside recess, these materials will be heavily utilized. Students will be engulfed in fun while learning simultaneously.
Money matters can easily be made exciting through games and exciting lessons.
These tools will allow us to engage and interact with students. We will use the books and games on a daily basis in our school from Kindergarten through Fifth grade!
