Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
If you could step into my class during a Writer's Workshop period you would see real writers at work. They would be huddled together creating wonderful stories about their lives.
As you know, good writers, like mine, need supplies to help their work go smoothly. I have spent well beyond the amount allotted for teachers in my area. Already supplies are dwindling. I would like to purchases some supplies to replenish my writing center. These supplies would include post-its, a pencil sharpener, pencils, markers and crayons. These supplies would encourage them to keep up the good work that they've already started.
If you were to help us with a donation, I'm sure you'd be encouraging a wonderful writer to "keep it up". I appreciate anything you may be able to contribute to help us accomplish this goal.
