This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember when you were young? Do you remember wanting things so bad but not being able to afford it? Imagine not having books!

My students do not come from the wealthiest families.

They do not have the best things. They are low income, immigrant families mainly from Spanish speaking countries. They work hard and care about education. We live in NY and go to a NYC public school.

My Project

Our class library keeps getting smaller and smaller and it is time to replenish the books. We need help to add our favorite titles to the shelves of our class library. This will allow the students to "get lost in a book". It will further their education. They will learn all the skills needed through the reading of the books, with some guidance and lessons of course.

Please help us get something and be able to utilize it in our education.

Many of us will not be allotted the opportunity without your generosity. You will be changing lives of many students, parents and the teacher.
