My Students

Students are being asked to solve complicated math problems! Please help them achieve this goal!

I teach 6th grade math to 115 students.

The students attend a rural school in south Mississippi. My students come from diverse backgrounds and diverse socioeconomic status. They would benefit from the use of technology in the classroom since we have limited technology.

My Project

My students would benefit greatly from having calculators in the classroom. We would be able to check our work when we work on exponents and square roots. It would also better prepare them for higher level math in the future. Calculators are a basic piece of equipment every middle school math classroom needs!
